Happy Mothers Day!
In honor of my mother, one of her favorite spring sights - the flowering crab tree. A tree like this also overlooks my father's burial site. He passed away 15 years ago today. I owe so much of who I am to both of them - thanks mom and dad.

Wind Power For The Brain
There are two esteemed colleges in my little town of Northfield, Carleton and St. Olaf. Both have one wind turbine on each of their campuses, collecting environmentally friendly power. This one is at St. Olaf. What a novel idea.
